The SplitClima S12 is our answer to a simple question: why pay over 1,000 francs when the split principle can cost less? Like the PortaSplit, indoor and outdoor units stand apart, connected by a flexible hose through a tilted window. No drilling, no permit, no contractors. With a full DC inverter, 3.5 kW of cooling and 3.5 kW of heating it covers rooms up to 40 m².
We have the S12 built to our specification and import it directly, with no middlemen. That is why it costs CHF 799 instead of four digits. Nothing is missing: 4-in-1 cooling, heating, dehumidifying and fan, WiFi with app, 24-hour timer, 39 dB(A) sleep mode and a Swiss T13 plug from the factory. Delivered with a 2-year warranty and support based in Switzerland.

Does the unit fit your room?
Room sizes are guide values. Attic floors, large window areas and poor insulation reduce performance.
What does it cost to run?
A cooling season of around 200 operating hours costs about CHF 25 to 35 in electricity with this unit. The math: an average draw of 400 to 550 watts times 200 hours times 30 centimes per kWh. A typical monobloc needs more than double for the same cooling effect.

Common questions about this unit
Because no middlemen take a cut. We have the S12 built to our specification by the same type of manufacturer that produces for European brands, and we import directly. The technology is complete: DC inverter, 3.5 kW cooling and heating, WiFi, A+.
Same power class (3.5 kW cooling and heating), same no-installation principle. The PortaSplit is slightly more efficient at SEER 6.1 (A++ vs A+) and has the flatter 2.7 cm line. The S12 has the lighter indoor unit (22 instead of 32.5 kg), higher airflow and costs CHF 391 less.
The flexible hose passes through tilted windows, balcony doors, roof windows and French balconies. The included bracket set covers common window types. For sealed continuous use, add a window seal or our acrylic panel.
